what do you guys think?

You don't need to spend $100 to get a board that will give you that amount of overclock with that CPU. Most any decent 785 or 880 board will do as long as it has some basic overclocking features in bios and most do. They can be had for $70-$85. Spend the extra money on a good PSU. Stay away from ECS and Jetway.

I have two of the Biostar TA890FXE boards and both of them have been great so far. The bios is fairly easy to work with and there are a couple of links I could point you to that will walk you through any questions you would have about setting up the bios.

With that said if I was to replace my Biostar I would probably try the GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 but that is more $$$ than you are talking about spending and the only reason I would go to that Gigabyte is because from what I have read from others than have owned both is that one will give just a bit more OC on the FSB over the Biostar.

i own the gigabyte :p
the best board i have owned
i dont feel like spending that much on a board that wont be benching though
so looks like the biostar is going to win this one
what do you guys think psu wise?
i need one that wont kill the mobo hahaha

I have the Cooler Master RS750 and the Corsair 750 power supplies and haven't had an issue out of either one of them. I only bought the CM over the Corsair because they had such a good sale on it at the time. I do think the Corsair is quieter than the CM but not by much.
