I got a question considering GPU fans (Surprise)

I help friends out with setting up their rigs and just essembling their PC's
^^ Im too poor to buy my own ;)

And i want to ask if i can unplug the GPU fan header and plug it into an external fan controller like the NZXT Sentry 2 or ZM-MFC1 Plus
Because it looks better and is easier to adjust during gaming

^^ Just as an example of the fan header being easy to remove

But will the graphics card fault the missing cable or are there another solution? :)

The best solution is to use the custom fan profile in MSI Afterburner.

I think it gets too tricky to shuffle through 2-3 interfaces to control your fans ...

Is there a way to bridge the pins on the Graphics card PCB ?

Why do you need anything else besides what most of us use? It's proven.

It auto adjusts the RPMs depending on your GPU temps. You can set it to whatever you want.

Have you looked at it and downloaded it yet? You should...............................

+1 for Afterburner; You can OC your gpu, setup custom profiles for your fan, even the on-screen display feature is awesome plus it has a bunch of other stuff you can do with it.
