I remember back when I was using 98SE, I was able to tweak the diskcache size directly. It was useful for some games, especially the Red Alert series because if I created a sufficiently large diskcache, the game would no longer have to access the HDD. I'm just wondering if it's possible to do something similar w/Windoze 7.

I am not a 100% sure what your trying to do. Make your computer preform faster? Well you could get a SSD or more ram and then set up a RAMdisk and put the temp files onto it and play a game..

Disk cache is just different from each HDD, not changeable.
