Took the Instigator to Gooseberry Falls, which I've already been to and done, so I wanted to try something a little different this time. Here's the "Dark Set".

Very cool DnB, love those blue hour shots.

Here is yet another time I found myself wanting wider than 18mm. When the budget allows (probably not this year), I'm fairly confident my next purchase will be the 10-18 STM. I want a better fast prime than the nifty fifty, but I know the 10-18 would get more use. I'd consider that more of a 'need' than a 'want' like a better fast prime.

Aaaaand another from the trip!
This is a pano of St. John's, taken from the top of the tower on Signal Hill.

If any of you guys want a bigger copy of any of these just shoot me a PM :)
The original here is 14065x2477 :p

Now and Then Falls, just a small 8' waterfall right off the parking lot at Amnicon state park, aptly named as it only runs after it's been raining.

Blue Angels were in town this weekend. It was my first time shooting at an airshow and it was quite a different challenge; was not used to pictures being blurry at 1/2000s shutter speeds. :screwy:

I am really impressed with the 7D's AF (in comparison to the 6D and Rebels I've owned). The 8FPS is absurd though; in 30 minutes, I filled a 32GB card (1244 RAW files, 257 jpg). If I have to complain about something, the 100% crops are not as nice as the 6D... Time to save up for a 5D (or dare I even think about a 1DX? :chair:)

Great shots Neon! They were in Detroit (I believe) right after Deluth. I wasn't able to capture anything good though. Great shots!

I'm still in the dog house over this photo...

Nothing wrong with the photo itself, she just was not happy with where I was when I took it. 69 feet straight down just past the front tripod leg

I love those shots with the water like that D & B it makes it look like it's moving. Next time tell the misses you had a rope tethering you to a tree when you took it. :D

My first submission (I think)

Just got our Nikon D3300, using the 18-55mm Nikkor lense

Still learning how to use it properly with varying shutter speed, ISO, and such. Also picked up the highly recommended 35mm f/1.8 lense as well. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

48mm, f/5.3, 1/60sec
