Anyone tried/heard of/are(is) using FreedomPop? I'm looking for a CDMA MVNO and FreedomPop, VirginMobile & BoostMobile are showing on my radar screen. I am using a low end(non-smart) LG Cosmo with PagePlus Cellular for voice & text. I also have two Androids using ConsumerCellular(an AT&T MVNO), which I'm basically happy with, except when in the mountain areas (SoCal) in which case CDMA owns the air. I like the idea of choosing my service features(voice, text, data) alacarte, which ConsumerCellular allows. Now, I just need to find a CDMA operator that speaks "alacarte".

I looked at Ting, their BYOD capability is for Sprint devices only. Actually, PagePlus does have a decent no contract plan that can easily be missed while browsing their site: https://www.pagepluscellular.com/plans/ I can switch my existing LG Cosmo from "prepaid" to "no contract" and add data though one of the listed plans. Still, FreedomPop does look interesting.
