what does the dremal has that other rotary product does does have when it comes to tools for modding.

any other alternatives ? i dun seem to find the dremal in singapore
 
okay. if i want to make a glowing mouse pad and want to cut some fine threads on the plexiglass to line some leds into it, what tool should i use to be fixed on the RTX or dremel?
