I have a few power issues with the tyan board

The system works but i cant boot up from the front pc button i have to use the back button on the powersupply.
It resets fine and boots into Suse 7.3 fine.

Could this be becuase i cant access the motherboard software on linux and need windows 2000?

I got a 400 watt PSU ATX 12V

The connecters seem to be connected right at the bottom of the board but it wont shut down properly with the power button. I can reset it but not shut it down.

Something about MPI or ASPI or something like that
im not quite sure about the configuration

could it be that?
