ata133 drive on ata100 mobo

Sure you can. As mentioned, it will only run at ATA100 speeds. This is not a big deal, though, as the difference isn't noticable.
 
im running a d740x on my pc rite now (see sig) which is a ata133 drive. yes, the mobo reads its ata133, but its performing like an ata100 based on benchies.
