I have the AMD Athlon 2100XP. I have attempted to unlock it....Ive changed the multiplier on the motherboard itself (to my knowledge there isn't a bios multiplier¿ unless there is hidden options like CTRL+F4 or whateva it is). I set it from Auto to 11X. But it still boots @ 13X .. I wanna get this beast @ 11X166 in sync with my ram if poss :) totalling 333 FSB ... If it still boots @ default does this mean its not properly unlocked? ... gazz

First is it a Palomino or a T/Bred and secondly how did you unlock it?
The 2100's are different from 1500to2000 to unlock.
If its a Palomino you have to join all the L1 bridges and also the 5th L3.
If its a T/Bred you only have to join the 5thL3.
The L3 joining is to enable the CPU to use the lower multis(12.5x and down)

The Palominos have a square core and it will have writing on it similar to
AX1800DMT3C
AGOIA ............
4...........
The T/breds have a rectangular core and the writing is on a black label below it, it will start
AXDA1800
and also will have similar to AIUHB OR AIUHA the last letter in either of these is whether its a T/Bred A or B.
Also the Palominos have the diodes underneath and the T/Breds have them on top.
