Day of Deafeat in stores!

Thats right! You will be able to get Day of Deafeat in the stores! That means the Beta 4 (or V 1.0 will be out at the same time.) I am asuming that valve will treat this the same way as they treat CS you can by reatail or if you have Half-Life you can download the mod for free.

I haven't played DoD since like Beta 1.3 or so but I'm glad it is getting the recognition it deserves. It was always a pretty fun mod for Half Life.

dod really hasnt taken off like it should. maybe this will help

Cause now DOD is owned by Valve. Before it was just a mod some people made like the other 1,000,000 other mods. All the work is really done and valve thinks they can make some money by selling it. I think they are right too.

I hope its still a free mod for Half-Life, cause I ain't paying for a mod to a 5 year old game.

I dont know if this is a good or a bad thing.... Valve has a tendency to screw things up.....

But I've always loved DoD, best mod IMO.....
