Mouse Modding.

I am a new modder and that is why I want to mod my optical mouse first. It is not a wireless mouse and I was wondering what kind of mods are there that will be easy for a beginner. I don't know much but I want to put some lights inside the mouse and are there any sites that can help me with this. I want step by step instructions. And I would prefer a mod that is less dangerous. Thanks and please reply. Where can I get the little LED's for cheap.

paint the bad boy, paint it black and get some red and yellow flames going across the side.

Okay. Finding the LED is not hard after you guys helped me. I have a question about soldering and I was wondering, do you solder from the back side of the circuit board or from the front.\
