hi....

i just notice with bios 14 beta that it reads higher temps on the cpu from within the bios, than in windows from hardware doctor

doe this means it now reads the cpu temps from the die within the bios and the socket sensor from windows now?

anyone got any info on this?

hi ben

i have no problems with this bios, just wanted to make sense off the cpu temps, there never seems to be any spec's or details from abit about where or what the temps are read from.
no one seems to know for sure?

I'd just concentrate on keeping the core temp under 50 degrees while it is loaded. It should be safe either way.
