with my NF7 Rev 2, 2500+, OCZ PC3500 plat ltd ram in single channel mode works fine at 11x217 but in dual channel with relaxed timings at 10x217 i get 7k errors in memtest at about 68% in the first test. Regardless of bios, and voltage. Any ideas?

Latency of dual-channel mode possibly, I had similiar problems with my AN35N and Buffalo PC3200, 200FSB @ 7-3-3-2.5 was all it would do and then last week I tried single channel again and now at 220FSB - nForce - go figure! Other rumour I've been hearing is third memory slot undervolts slightly from 1 & 2 thus any dual-channel config will OC less in comparison to single channel using slots 1 & 2

how is your memory BW compared to the dual channel? in dual channel i can run 11x211 prime stable, i error out at 99% in memtest though :/ so i guess i could drop it down to 210. Re-installing windows with APIC disabled(again :[), won't boot into windows any higher than 218 heh.

Yup, I hear you on the disable APIC, it has a big effect my rig, I forgot to after my mega-crash and I was banging my head trying to figure out why my 3DMark scores sucked. Too much stuff going on what with hot-flashing BIOS chips and bad sector on HDD and I forgot. Interestingly enough I got better bandwidth before my 220FSB jump running 166FSB w/5-2-2-2 timings than I could at 200FSB w/7-3-3-2.5

166FSB Tight Timings Sandra 7924 - 3366 Dual-Channel

200FSB Loose Timings Sandra 7734 - 3367 Dual-Channel

220FSB Loose Timings Sandra 8252 - 3422 Single-Channel

I thought I had a scribble here with one closer to 8500 but I can't find it now so I'm not claiming that - yet!

I'm running 220FSB X 10.5 w/ XP1700+ DUT3C Prime and Memtest stable. I've made Prime runs of 14 and 12 hours straight with no errors and 5 hours of Memtest with no errors, so the rig is pretty stable.

Another thing I've noticed is my 3DMarks seem to still top out the same even with the extra BW and FSB, I had just added some RAM sinks to my old ti4200 and expected to break 14,000 but for some reason I'm still stuck at a max of 13,950 but that could be the result of other issues, who knows.
