MSI K7T-Turbo CPU temp probe?

On the MSI K7T-Turbo, should the CPU temp probe be in contact with the back of the CPU? I believe that mine is, and as a result I may have temp indications that are too high. I remember bending it up when installing a CPU, maybe it was not touching before? This would definitely raise the indicated temp if it is not supposed to be touching.

yes the turbo temp probe originally touch the cpu backside...

you know i can lower my temp by benched it so it not touch the cpu

drop 10C lower hehehe :D

before bench... like in hell...

some one at msi australia tell to
benched it but iforgot where to find the article...

anyone..??
