Going to order a new 19" CRT soon

Well I decided to get a nice gaming moniter to replace my 17" Compaq MV720. It served me pretty good, but 1280x1024@60hz is really limiting my graphic card when I want to play at that resolution with vsync on. Plus I figure I can run 1600x1200 no AA rather than 1280x1024 full AA ( lol i always run 6xAA in every game ) so i hope doom 3 is ready! Anyways, I cant decide which one to get. I only want to spend 250+ship, nothing more. My freind has a Viewsonic G series that he told me to get, but its a shadowmask i think, and i heard aperature grilles were better? How is the VS p series?

You really should pony up a few more duckies and get the Mitsuishi Diamond Pro.

Aperature Grill is the only way to fly...Shadow Mask just cannot hang with a good aperature grill CRT.

Well i'll use this moniter until september, then i'll upgrade..I guess I can sell this thing for 60$+ship, its still a great moniter, i just want biggger!

interesting article, but im still pretty confused lmao. I have some idea though, but it seems like an aperature grille is better for what i use it for.

I would go with perfectly flat 21" trinitron tube. I have a 21" IBM P260 and I cant say enough good things about it. I run 1600x1200 at 100Hz with no problems!

I have 19" Viewsonic G90f. I love it, it is very clear and sharp at 1600x1200 and the colour is great. Its affordable as well.
