I just received my a64 setup and I am having the hardest time getting windows to install...
I've switched out everything except the motherboard and processor because I don't and I hope none of you have a spare athlon 64 mobo and processor to test things with.
Upon installation of windows I get a BSOD that reads DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
The BSOD comes when windows xp setup reads "Setup is starting windows" after all drivers have been loaded. My temps are fine, and here is a list of my hardware:
Athlon 64 3500+
Thermalright 948U w/ 92mm Tornado
Abit AV8
Radeon 9800 Pro
Fortron 530watt psu
52x Rosewill cd/dvd
74gb Raptor
Thoughts on how to fix this problem?
