Yes all that will work together but I reccomend getting a new mobo. If you want to go pic-e atleast get a mobo that has 2x pci-16 slots. But other than that, it looks good.

PEACE

RIght now i have an MSI fx 5600, and my processor is 1.14 GHz...If i go 939, how big of an improvement will it be?

Get a better graphic card there. :) You do know it's only 128-bit that nvidia you pointed out :p The mb looks descent, if you aren't overclocking. Also replace that pos of a cpu you chosed with an FX55 :santa: :p j/k I only think the graphic card needs some replacement there

Well first off,

dual channel= more bandwith (correct me if im wrong)

Also new processors will be released on it.

but , then again is that card agp or pci. if its agp then id go with 754, so you dont have to buy a new vid card. but the choice is all yours.

My Two Cents Worth

First to answer your question:Yes those parts will work.
Most people will recommend you go with a stronger MB and chip combo like one of the Socket 939 sets. This gives you more room for future upgrades and several very strong Motherboards you could chose. However the cost would be more now but it might cost you less in the long run.It is definatly worth some research on these forums and in the reviews. Also most people realize the standard for Vid cards is rapidly going to the pci-e slots and because your vid card will have to be replaced now is the time to go to one of the reviews like here at Overclockers or Toms Hardeware and make sure the x600 not only meets your needs today but in the future life of the computer. If it doesn't now might be the time to address it to save you money in the long run.

How about I give you all the finger and stop harrassing this guy. :santa: j/k fella's there now, Yup it would be better if you give them some info's to how much are you willing to smack on your rig. :) :p

Dual Channel means the PC can access two sticks of RAM at the same time. Which means overall better performance (can read data off both sticks at once, or be reading from one and writing to another at the same time).

Usually find around 5-10% performance boost from dual channel, depending on other factors like the application used etc.

K well I guess I have no idea what I'm doing...so what would you guys suggest to do with about $330? Go 939 pci-x? Or just save for something else?

Some Amswers

iaacp- Well now im thinking about getting the following:

vid card: http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Prod...N82E16814121540

processor: http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Prod...N82E16819103501

mobo: http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Prod...N82E16813135177

Those components will be the heart of a good system. You seem to be on the right tract. If you have the time a little more research on the forums might lean you toward a little stronger components but of course they would cost more.
Good Luck on your build.I will just attach a couple of alternatives:

So for around $330, thats the best I can get, right? And it will definately be way better than my 5600fx and 1.14ghz? Becuase if it wont be a a very big difference in performance, I will just save my money until I can get way better parts.
