Can only connect to random CS servers?

It's wierd, some servers just don't connect...I get 2 bars when it says connecting to server and then an error message that says: connection failed after 4 attempts....then on other servers it'll work just like normal. The servers where it works like normal always works and the others when it doesn't work it'll continue to not work?

All servers are VAC secured and are all on same criterea...same map, not full, not passworded, haved people playing.....

one of the more recent updates now messes up the filter that searches only for your game.

If, for example, you are playing CS: Source, and you apply all of the above filters, if you look closely you'll see a column in the results listing the game - some will say source and some will not. If and when you try to join a non-source game, you will get that 4 attempts error.
