ok. i've been given the task of figuring out a touch screen system to setup in my companies shop so the employees can login and see what they should be doing, as well as log what they've done, figure out their work schedule, and things like that.

so im hoping someone here can help me with this. right now im leaning toward a kiosk type system like the ones this company provides:

the only thing i really need to find out is that, does a touch screen use on mouse click to communicate? we're hoping this is the case as we've written the program in VB and is designed with on mouse click.

would you guys happen to know of any other companies manufacturing something we might be able to use?

also looking into external add on kits. http://www.magictouch.com/addon.html
starting to wonder if thats the only company that makes them.

I'm 99.66669% sure that a touchscreen uses a mouse click. Now as for other companies I doubt there are many and probably the only other way to go about this is to get your own touchscreen and get some sort of a wall mount, or a stand for the monitor.

For instance on newegg:

then take the stand off and get some sort of wallmount:

But of course it depends what budget you've been given.
