Hey guys,

I just bought a

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833127075

because we just moved and I really don't want to run a ton of cable from my roommates room all the way to mine.

My question is.....does anyone know the range for one of these? I'd say I'm about 50-70 ft. away computer to modem with about 4 walls in the way (mostly drywall). I'm going to test it tonight, but if it doesn't work out I was wondering what other adapters I should consider.

Thanks.

Im not sure what their "rangebooster' does for sure as it does not say on their site but you may need a corresponding router to see any differences. I would upgrade the antenna on the card/router as that should be both cheaper and better than getting a new card.
