So, thanks for the help, that was a pretty easy overclock.
It looks pretty stable at 3.6GHz.
All I did was turn the FSB to 400, didn't touch the voltages.
Definitely heated up running 3DMark06.... 50C.
Stock Cooling.
But the problem is this... why would my 3DMark scores go down?!!
I went from 1125ish to 1049ish (I forgot the exact numbers).
I did tighten the RAM a bit.
I haven't touched anything else.... does that make sense?
I am running the following:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale CPU
Gigabyte P35-DS4 Mobo
EVGA GeForce 8800GT 512mb VideoCard
Crucial Ballistix DDR2 SDRAM 800 (4GB 1GBx4)
Antec 900 case
OCZ GameXStream 600W PSU
Western Digital Caviar 750GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
Rosewill RCR-102 52-in-1 USB 2.0 Black Card Reader
SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe Black SATA Model
