Got my:
Abit IP35-E
Corsair 550VX
EVGA 8400GS
SEGATE BARRCUDA 7200.10 250
INTEL 2160

HAVE FOLLOWED INS. MANUAL.

Red light on board goes on. No fans run No video.
checked vlts on USB pins on board get 3.13V.
Have tried shorting start switch, still nothing.
have torn down and redone everything 3 times.
tried jump start reading another post. no fan spins on psu.

any ideas.

What red light?

First thought, without any information, is that the power switch is not plugged in correctly.

took all plugs at least 3 times.
forgot to mention no sl led,no speaker wires no my case.

In addition to the 20+4 pin power connector (ATXPWR), do you also have the 8-pin power connector installed (I think it's called ATX12V1 on the IP35-E)? Make sure to connect either a 4-pin or 8-pin power connector there, depending on your PSU.

Memory dimms in? If you have more than one dimm, try it with just a single stick of memory. Make sure your CMOS jumper is positioned correctly. If you have another processor, give it a shot.

Try taking everything out and turning it on. If the red light is on you should be able to at least turn on the fans if they are connected to the MB.
