Streaming Web Cam?

I'd like to setup a streaming cam. Can anyone recommend a cheap solution? I have DSL, and a dedicated machine is no problem.

I hope to setup a "Kermie Kam" to stream my pet toad to the world...

Looking at a wired webcam...just something so that people can see him hop around and eat stuff.

unless you can find a linksys maybe? this is the first one i saw

these should have some form of web interface you can terminal into good luck

I was looking into this and there are better cheaper solutions... the camera does not have to be networkable, it could just be USB:

You can probably do the same thing on windows, tho it may be more difficult to find non-commercial monitoring software.
