1. This should be in the Am3 section.
2. That number from the motherboard is the max speed it can be meaning any speed below that should work.

thanks.
You really don't want to run three sticks of RAM. Not only will any over-clock be near impossible your RAM will slow to a crawl.

You need to run RAM in pairs - and preferably only two sticks for the best over-clocking ...

Ohh.. Thank you, I didnt know that. Also, sorry if I was in the wrong thread >.<

Am I suppose to overclock the motherboard to be able to run the 1600 memory sticks? The mobo shows that it supports DDR3 1066/ 1333/ 1600*/ 1800*/ 2133* SDRAM

* means overclock

Does this mean I have to overclock my mobo to support 1600?

That's probably the warning about running more than two sticks of RAM - I wouldn't worry about it (yes, I read the MSI website description). And it's not really the board that you'll be OC'ing, it's the CPU and RAM.

It could mean the board doesn't have a setting for 1600 (which is no loss) - maybe the on-line manual will tell you. Either way, the RAM typically gets set to 1333 then the over-clock takes it from there ...
