Radeon 5870 Bios and Volt mods for hardcore O/C

disclaimer
I do not take responsibility or Cpu magazine if you mess up and brick your card. Know what you are doing and you will be fine

There is a bios limit on the 5870 to 900mhz gpu and 1300mhz on memory.
you will be able to O/C double that with this mod

to sum it up you do
download the file from rapidsahre.
http://rapidshare.com/files/288531683/asus.rom

Download ati bios flash utility form techpowerup
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1731/ATIFlash_3.79.html

put both on to a bootable usb,a, or cd

when in dos prompt type atiflash-f-p0[bios name]
Put the bios name in the bracket and remove the brackets
hit enter and you are done

if you have 2 cards one will have a 0 at the end and the other a 1

Flash cards one at a time

Aren't there supposed to be a "spaces" between the f, p, 0, and bios name? atiflash -f -p 0 [bios name]
Just wondering.

yes there are suppose to be spaces where the bios name is you would put the file that you downloaded for the bios. Then you would remove the brackets
