how to install raid driver. sorry if this is another noob question

how do i install the raid driver?
i have setup the raid configuration but i need to install the driver.
i did manage to install windows7 but i believe the driver is still needed. yes?
can i still do it or do i need to start from scratch?
if so what are the steps.
please help .

there is standard driver in win 7 and all should work but if you want to install something more then go to intel site and download Intel Matrix/Storage manager that includes driver for raid/ahci

As long as the drives was setup in RAID and win7 was installed with the drives set up in RAID then you are fine as Windows 7 has built in RAID controller driver. If you needed the driver, you wouldnt have been able to install Windows 7. Updating the driver now is what you will want to do.
