Not to shabby for fast simple clocking!

IB 3770K Retail asap NDA is lifted

T&B

Do you really have 2 i7-3770k's? I've been waiting for Ivy Bridge but seeing the early samples they do not overclock as well as sandy bridge and temps are off the charts. Can you confirm that?

What's your max 24/7 overclock on that 2700k and at what voltage. Also how are the temps. I know Sandy can do around 1.45v 24/7. Can you see how high your chip will clock at 1.45v.I really want to upgrade but it seems Ivy is a fail. I need a 5ghz chip :) Sorry for so many questions, I really want to get a nice upgrade for my graduation present to myself. Sick system by the way. Get those 7970's near 1250mhz or higher if you can.

Once the NDA is lifted I will post benching on the 3770k with a H 100 and SS I ran a 3550 as well locked but was fun to play with :)

I really dont hang on to anything to run 24/7 as my system. I just bench :) have a HP lapper 8760w as my desktop never got into games either, 100% benching & building, but as we all know it depends on the chipper get a goodie your in.

Can you pm how what results you were getting? I don't care about benches, I just want to know how high it can overclock and what the temps are at that overclock. I know reviews can't be posted but tell me your impressions. And if it is really better than current sandy bridge cpu's.

Even if he just says how it overclocks and what temps he's getting? That's all I need. I saw the review form tweak town and the ivy was really disappointing so I'm wondering if it has been fixed for release.

LOL... Probably best to keep ANY discussion about breaking NDA to PM BigTerminator...

Guys can get into some SERIOUS trouble with Intel for it.

There's no way I would put anything on any forum! I would loose my shorts for sure.......

Yep...

Non Disclosure means he's not supposed to talk about ANYTHING till the NDA lifts.

:)

Agreed. :)

However... I am excited to see your results.

Can't wait for the NDA to lift.

Out of curiousity... Have you tested it sub-zero yet? As in... Can we expect some cold results when the NDA lifts?
