I have this strange issue with my 24" ASUS VW246H where if the video feed stops or changes resolution, I have to power cycle my monitor to get video back. Has anyone else seen this or heard of this? It happens when using DVI or HDMI.

If you've had this monitor for some time and it didn't always do it, it is probably failing capacitors inside the monitor. One of my BenQ 24" monitors was doing something similar, where during a reboot the monitor goes to sleep and wouldn't turn back on without unplugging/replugging. Cracking it open and replacing the capacitors has fixed this issue nearly entirely. It used to do it every time, now it does it very seldom.
