Please help

Could someone be kind enough to tell me how to hook up a fan to a potentiometer? I just got one and I have no idea how to do it. Thanks!

Certainly. You just cut either line to the fan (positive or negative), and attach the POT/Rheo like so, with the center pin used and either one of the side pins (just 1 though).

This pic shows another way, but the way described above only uses 2 pins, leaving one of the two side pins alone.

I do not have mine looped from the middle to the end. Just tied into one of the outsides and the middle. Check this out http://www.bit-tech.net/article/56/
