Links?I saw a few places selling the Geforce 660TI for $250.00
7870....thread closed
seriously though, the 570 isnt worth it. Also a 650w would be EASILY enough power for a 7870 or actually any card as long as its a decent PSU. As said before a decent 650 will easily handle 2 680's/670's in SLI. 7970's in Xfire i would go for a 750w. But thats going a little off topic.
Misleading advice indeed.
You've linked 7870s. Which did u go with? You say 7970...

Try to squeeze in an extra $50 and get the 660 TI preferably the MSI 660 TI Power Edition and it's BEAST and is the absolute best BANG FOR THE BUCK RIGHT NOW! absolutely worth the $300 let alone the extra $50 and you will not be disappointed. Plus it is also way more future proof than anything you will ever find on the market to day and it also comes with a free copy of Borderlands 2 which is a $60 value. I got a EVGA 670 FTW in my build and I love it but if i was on a tight budget definitely the 660 TI is they way to go.
Not really the best bang for buck when it's outperformed on average by the $250 7870.

It was the best bang/buck until AMD decided to slash the prices on the 7950, 7870, and 7850 by $50.
