touch the heatsink after its been under load for a while (and still under load)....if you dont notice a difference in temp, like i do, thats superb...if its warmer than your fingers, great. if its hot but you can keep your finger on it, i wouldnt overclock it anymore, but it should be ok for every day use. if its too hot to keep your fingers on, reduce your clock and/or voltage.

why not? its very very simple. my IC7 is completly modded by Malves. he does all the work. just contact him. he is infamous for doing volt mods for people. probably does 2-3 boards a day. :)

daos, where can i contact Malves? Extreme? here? how much would it cost to mod out the board (roughly) and how long would i be out a board? maybe i should ask him these questions lol.

gustav,

contact Malves over at extremeoverclocking forums. he is in the Vmods section. he would probably charge you 30 bucks for the mods, and it might be gone for 2 days. all depends on how you ship though.

well fellas, i finally found the sweet spot on this 3.2c i purchsed about a month ago. i put it under stock cooling, and it did 4Ghz, so that was a good impression on me atleast. :) it wasnt stable at those speeds, but heck it booted windows at 1.65v on AIR!

so anyways, i have done countless hours of testing, blah blah blah, and this is what i have found to be the highest and most stable speed of my CPU under my Vapochill. im still working on my 9800XT, and trying to find its sweet spot. :)

the saga continues....
that is an awesome OC to be stable at. congrats on it.
how high can the mushkin 3500 run up to at 1:1?

guys say good buy to the ole trusty Vapochill, for he is being sold to another owner. :(

do not fret, for the Vapochill LS shall come to thy rescue! :)

wow that was fast lol

the Mushkin is good for up to 257 1:1 2-2-2-6 3.3v. i dont want to give anymore voltage to it. i would rather run 255fsb with 2-2-2-6 and StreetRacer enabled. i can really max the timings out along with GAT when running only 255. looks like this: StreetRacer, Enahanced, 5, D, D. i cannot get tRDA, and CPC to run stable at those speeds. matter fact, i cannot get tRDA, and CPC to run at anything over 230fsb.

yeah, i looked at his site. $30 for first mod, $10 for each mod after that. so for Vdimm, Droop, and Vagp its gona be $50, plus shipping....2nd day fedex is like $13....so im looking at about $80 to get it modded and shipped both ways.

I am running my Corsair Twinx @225fsb with 1:1 ratio w/ 2-3-2-6 now but I have to rasie the Vdimm to 2.85v.
Is it save with this voltage?
i been running my corsair 4000 at 2.85 for some time no problems at all, i think its safe to actually run it over 3.0 even
