More V Core Gonster MORE!
I did it just for cpuz I reduced the clock for thermal reasons
I can't get mine over 4.83GHz. It won't even post with just a little bump over that... I'm thinking it's actually my mobo, since it's only an 880 chipset + whatever MOSFETs it has with it.
My FX8120 was running in IBT @4.7GHz 1.37V , in benchmarks up to 5.5GHz 1.55V on single stage but couldn't higher as it was overloading ss and water was everywhere
Max 6081MHz on ss -> http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2141995 , nothing special as there are many 7GHz+ results around
FX8320 needs 1.55V+ to run F@H stable @4.8GHz. Running @4.5GHz ~1.425V now as power section is overheating at higher voltage and I don't really want to have there additional fans.
You guys are a real piece of work. A fairly new member is jazzed about getting his system to boot into Windows at 5Ghz and all you can do is talk between yourselves about his system not being stable or meeting your standards for declaring stability?? Just what did you use to reach this judgment? did you ask him any questions about his system? NO!
Did you give him any level of props for reaching 5Hz? Hell NO!
You have my permission to state that my system doesn't meet your standards also cause I don't give a damn what you think about it. Have a nice day !
Mrwayne, welcome to the 5.0 club!!!!!!!!!!
looking at Rgones post at 5.5, I do think if he got his vcore up a little more it might be a little more stable.
