850 south bridge and raid.... do i need drivers?

running 890fx us5 and 1055.

trying to install windows 7 64 bit and it won't see any drives at install if i'm in raid mode.

anyone know if i need drivers and were i can get some?

went to amd.com web site and couldn't find any downloads for 890fx or 850 southbridge.

Gigabyte should have drivers for that on their website - or look on the motherboard CD ... :)
 
With the new AMD chipset you will need to install the mobo CD and locate the "f6" drivers for RAID with Windows 7. 7 comes with the Intel RAID drivers, but not the newest AMD ones. They will be on your motherboard CD, and luckily, 7 can read a CD so no need for a floppy. :rock:
