SOLVED 8Gb Installed only 7.5Gb usable

I just reconnected my RAM since last time it said 8Gb (4Gb Usable) and somehow, now it only gives me 7.5Gb of my RAM is usable. How do I get it to use all 8Gb?

I have

Asus P7P55D-E LX Motherboard w/ Intel i5 760 @2.8Ghz (friend gave me the case and these)
XFX R7770 1GB Graphics Card
2x Corsair Vengeance 4Gb DDR3

I checked and I don't think I have an onboard graphics card since I went to Device Manager and all I had was the graphics card.

OP, download CPUz and see what the memory tab says about your memory size. That'll let you know if your system is detecting and applying your RAM size properly.

SOLVED it with this link. Thank you! I did the msconfig>Extended Memory thing and it made it 8GB Thanks!
