I just got this processor...
A64 3000+ Newcastle.

"ADA3000AEP4AX CBASC 0414 MPMW"
Is this a good one for a very early one, I can't remember when 3000+ 64's came out, but 14-04 seems alright.

What do you think?

first of all, you got a Newcastle core, so that's good. (guranteed CG Stepping)
I don't know exactly how to read A64 steppings but I did hear that the MPMW do well just like the XPs. Just try them out and post with some results.

It is a NewCastle CG, clock it up and it should do 2.5 - 2.6 GHz on air (hopefully) as shown by some sketchy result in the thread below.
