Been thinking about doing this since my main machine is a 9600+ on a TA780G M2+ Biostar Mobo. I wanna make the most of the DDR2 RAM I have. Any suggestions?

Ram is Patroit 8500ELK 2x1 kit (the enhanced latency one you cant buy anymore of).

AM3 cpus work happily in AM2 mobos with ddr2. They OC nicely, too.

I don't think that board supports anything over 95W. The 955BE is a 125W CPU ...
