Going to assume (dangerous I know) that you are running Windows. If so you need to go into your Windows power settings and change it to Performance.

I am running Windows but thats not it. Everything is on performance. It almost acts like it is thermally throttling, but all of the temp monitors I have managed to find for this CPU, nothing shows any temps above 49c.

okay, just tried another HWmonitor program, and now this one shows mostly the same Temp info I have, but does show Package temperature of 80c, nothing else I have tried shows this temperature. I dunno what to believe here, is this thing throttling itself from heat???
