AMD Overdrive question

so i want to use the auto clock feature on Overdrive to step up my cpu a little. i want to step it up just 1Mhz at a time but should i turn on the voltage boost option too??

I wouldn't suggest using software overclock. And the automatic software overclocks that I've seen always only step up the FSB (not sure about OverDrive though), which affects your RAM. You have a Black Edition so the best thing you could do is to overclock via the BIOS and increase your multiplier.

When I was playing with Overdrive with my FX it would alternate increasing the FSB and Multiplier. Of course I had much better results manually changing the bios settings but playing with Overdrive was fun for a few hours.
