AMD PhenomII X4 955 overclocking guide??

Got a new build coming soon so I felt like trying my hand at overclocking my cpu before i remove it all. i was wondering if anyone had a thread link that could help. I see a lot of program links for stress testing but they are always old posts so I don't know if those are the most up to date programs i should be using. any advice or help would be appreciated.

There used to be a sticky for Phenom overclocking in this section of the forum. Tools haven't changed: Prime95, HWMonitor and CPU-z.
