anyone have experience with this motherboard?

http://www.microcenter.com/product/476044/B350_TOMAHAWK_AM4_ATX_AMD_Motherboard like for instance can i flash with the flasher inside bios? and do i have to make a dos boot disk? if so anyone can help me how to do that? thanks i tried on stock bios to change ram to xmp profile but it woudnt boot im sure the bios needs updating

i read you can flash in bios with m-flash but then i thought before i bought this setup that i read somewhere that m-flash doesnt flash right? or was it some other flash tool? i dont want to flash untill i know its the safe way...thanks

Don't worry I've used Mflash on two other MSI AM4 boards and it worked fine. Through BIOS is always the best way to do it

the mflash its showing me is in the bios, so do i have to make a bootable usb dos and if how? i havent done that in LONG time so i totaly forgot

The usb needs to be fat32 which most are then just put the latest BIOS file on it select m-flash it usually reboots then you should be able to select the bios file and flash it

ok im updated anyone know how to OC it? what is regular achievable for the 1700x? 3.8 or 3.9? and what is all the settings to set? thanks oh and im sure it flashed it but where can i find bios version?

The CPUz Mainboard tab will tell you the BIOS version. Not sure if it'll be accurate on something so new though.

7A34v16 is name of latest from msi note 16 at end and cpu-z says 1.60 so i guess im on latest now, now does anyone know what to turn off to OC this? not trying to go wild just speed ram up from 2133 to 3000 or so and maybe get 3.8 on cpu, does speeding up ram realy help alot?

for amd1700x and this board B350 Tomahawk http://www.microcenter.com/product/476044/B350_TOMAHAWK_AM4_ATX_AMD_Motherboard what is all the stuff to turn off to crank this cpu up? not trying to go willd 3.8 or 3.9 is fine and how do i crank the ram up? i tried turning on Xmp but it wouldnt boot rolleyes.gif but that was BEFORE i updated the bios to newest this is the ram https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod..._re=f4-3200c16d-16gvkb-_-20-231-941-_-Product and the ram liked 2nd slot and last slot away from cpu other slots it didnt want to even boot

set voltage to 1.35 set multi to 3.9 if that doesnt work try 3.8 our follow some of the nice guides on the site .
