I had it in my mind to finally overclock my i7-4770 in my ASRock B85M Pro4.
Updated to the latest BIOS/UEFI version, but in the overclocking section I can only specify voltages for various options.
No CPU ratio at all.

I do remember something from a few years ago, where Intel disallowed overclocking with this chipset.
But I could be wrong.
Can't seem to find information on this anymore either.

Anyone that can enlighten me here, please?

You need a z chipset to OC on Intel . Some of the early non z chipsets could OC but this was patched. Some ppl are able to get it to work using the bios before it was changed.
YMMV .
