Two for Taco... ;)

A "Bloomfield" i7-920 cpu with QPI/DRAM voltage ~1.45v.

Ah Dear Sir Polroger, Taco can't beat that, ran out of steam:D i push any higher, I might get those ray traced flames outta my tower!!
Well, at least I beat you on that L1 and L2 cache performance from that first machine!

Dear sir Storm, you may have missed polrogers "second" i7 920. He submitted 2 different rigs with that processor.

I can include the other one if he wants, I just submitted his best score for those results.

EDIT: PolRoger I also need memory amount to show for our leaderboard.

Same setup Taco... I just changed the bclk to 205 and bumped up vcore to run at 4.3GHz. Everything else was the same. I just thought it was interested to see how higher uncore and memory speeds helped the score even while running at lower cpu speed.

Just keep the best score for each platform...

I should be able to beat that i7-920 score if I can do something similar (uncore/memory) with my 6-core 980x as AIDA is multi-threaded. Maybe I'll find some time to test again.

As far as memory amount used... My X58 triple channel runs have been with 3x2GB kits. My C2D/C2Q socket 775 runs have been with 2x2GB kits. I'll try to make note of that for future submissions.

Looks better now  I guess you can set 4266 19-19-19 at 1.40-1.45V. Maybe you will need to set higher SA voltage. You can also try to remove 2 memory sticks and check if you can boot at higher clock.
At lower clock can check something like 3600 14-14-14 or 15-15-15 and command rate 1N. It will need about 1.5V VDIMM but lower SA/IO voltages. Can also try 4000 16-16-16 or 15-15-15 but I'm not sure how it will work at lower voltages. Probably will need ~1.6V.

I think this motherboard is capable of 4500+ so I would also try if 4500 19-19-19 works at ~1.5V. It may require higher SA voltage like 1.4-1.45V but I'm not sure how KL-X are scaling.

Here is my Q9650 rig running DDR3 1600.. can push memory to 833mhz but only for benching. This is stable and what I run most of the time.

Hey Storm

Since you are running a DDR3 P45 motherboard...

Are you aware that the Intel Eaglelake P45 chipset has a bug (perhaps not that well known) with the 400 speed MCH latch and the 3:5 memory divider/ratio?

The bug makes it appear that you are running at a faster/higher memory speed than the actual true speed. Also it is interesting to note that the earlier designed X48 chipset DDR3 motherboards like the ASUS REX don't have this problem. Windows and BIOS will show that you are running for example at DDR3-1600 (800Mz) but when you boot out of windows into MemTest with a floppy disc or thumb drive you'll see that Memtest reports a slower memory speed: DDR3-1440 (720Mhz).

Thanks for the clarification, PolRoger. I am in fact running the 400MHz strap which is listed in the BIOS as DDR3 1440. I did notice the discrepancy but I just thought it was due to the fact I was running a higher than stock FSB and the mainboard was just not reading the correct speed anymore. I've come to trust CPUz a little too much, as obvious from this situation.

That being said, I should have time this afternoon to amend this issue and we will see what happens.

Just to hit back at you on your DDR4 Rig :)

Indeed, and hit back you did!

This sub puts you ahead of custom90gt by less than 1,000Mb/s - Well done!

Ahh sweet! I found some old ocz reaper 6-8-6 1600s and I'm to chicken to try and plug them into my x58 because she's been running good and I don't want to mess up a good thing :D I will run some aida tonight when the kids are in bed.

I'm having to trouble shoot my i7-8700k as it's not wanting to post :(
