Your oil is imported but cheap cause you're a big customer. That, and the import fees are not that bad. Ours our imported from other countries that aren't as close and we aren't a big customer.

US gas tax is 18 cents / gallon. Canadian gas tax can be up to 80 cents per gallon, though it varies somewhat between locales.
