i get a error when connecting to server saying Data Differs from Server. what does that mean?

You either

A. Modified important BF Vietnam Files
B. Have the Pirate Copy, Ripped by Razor 1911
C. Need to Reinstall the game and retype the VALID CDKEY

I GOT the same thing at one server.I tried the same server and got it again.Only on that one srever though

The server is cracked then with different files. Not accusing you of downloading it just mentioning that could be a reason, as with a lot of people asking at GameFAQ's are just trying to play on cracked servers. Try another server
