bios question im confused

hi i have an asus P6T6 WS REVOLUTION motherboard and in the bios under intel speed tech is an option called high TDP turbo mode any idea what this is dont wanna mess with it till i know what it is and does

just wanna know what this mode does or what its for

The google machine brought up a dead page...

From the sounds of it, its like a modern Multi-Core Enhancement where the board has its own idea (not intel spec) for turbo raising some/all cores to a specific value higher than the intel spec.

You can enable it and see what it does.
