Have you tried increasing the fan speed of your GPU? EVGA presision is a good program to tweak your nvidia cards. Brand doesn't matter.

You can clock down the card to see if that gets rid of the artifacting.

I'm not able to do that mich because whenever i do get a boot without artefacts it crashes anyway after a few minutes, i've sent an rma request to bfg now.
