I need help with deciding between these two Motherboards:

OR

I'm going to only really be using 1 Video card, and not really thinking about doing crossfire or etc, but my 2 of my friends have told me to get the ASrock one just cause the Crossfire/SLI features (and the; x16/0 or x8/x8, x4) but I worry about quality now cause I had a biostar board that pretty much died... I just need some opinions though.

990fx extreme

If you can spare the extra $20, this is a great board. Better chipset as well.

Even if you are not using crossfire/sli the extra 16x slots are a nice plus.

I'm kind of partial to ASRock over Gigabyte. Seems to me Gigabyte frequently turns out bios releases that are buggy. ASRock has the best, user friendly website of all the board manufacturers, hands down.

+1, I have had nothing but issues with gigabyte boards in my experience. There are better(and cheaper) alternatives.

Thanks guys, well thats a 4 - 1 vote now, so I know what I'm getting. :)
