Chrome lagging

Okay this is driving me nuts.

Chrome is obscenely slow for me. After a minute of use it will start to slow down and it isn't my internet I have good connections on IE and online games. I have have no idea what's causing it. Pages won't load and the ones that do respond very slowly.

This is a fresh copy of Windows 7.

I did and it seems to be working for now. Might happen again.

My bad, thought that was the new Task Manager.

Redownload and reinstall Chrome and see if the issue persists.

Post #5 he has already Re-installed windows and says it is working Okay for now but might happen again. Sure anything can happen again.

Completely missed that, just saw the resource monitor post. (It was a Chrome reinstall, I think)

I'm having the same issue. Tried re-installing, same problem....after a few minutes of use, Chrome gets very sluggish and is using an inordinate amount of memory.

Browser slow or slowing is everywhere it seems. Extensions and AddOns are a major source for slowing it seems.

Happened again. Switched to firefox
