Copper or Sheet Metal

I want to make a res that fits under the case, I wanted to use copper but the place I found sheet copper was expensive, so the question is... Does anyone know where to find a cheaper sheet copper(thickness isnt that important, it will have internal supports) or would sheet metal react with the water/copper inside? Thanks.

go copper or plastic but why are you choosing a metal? is it for supporting the weight of the case or are you trying t use the res to aid in the cooling?

I just got stuck on the idea of copper, and then sheet metal, I could use plastic for it when I think about it.

Just use thick plexi. Advantage with plexi is that you can use some type of lighting. just look at thorilan's res

copper should not give any trouble if you put anti-freeze in the water to eliminate corosion.
