Hello!
This is my first post as I am a new member to the forum.
In 2009 i bought a core i7 based pc (X58). In details:

CPU -- core i7 920
Motherboard -- Foxconn Flaming Blade GTI
Ram -- Corsair XMS3 CM3X2G1600C8 (3x2GB) 6GB in total
CPU COOLER -- Coolermaster Vortex PLUS
Graphics Card -- NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 (4 GB)
Operating system -- Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

For almost 4 years i was using my system with the memory running at 1033MHz even though it suppose to run at 1600.

Plus my system used to recognise only 4GB out of the total 6GB of my system!!
And when bios used to recognise all 6GB I had the blue screen after a couple of minutes or hours working my pc..

I tried to enable the Extreme Memory Profile (xmp) several times but i had the blue screen before i got the windows get loaded.

I tried almost every combination of increasing CPU VTT/ QPI , Vcore ecc.

Never could make it work..

So i left my system working at 1033

But now I decided to make it work at 1600 at all costs.

I enabled the XMP and my bios auto adjusted my CPU/VTT to +180 mv and my DRAM voltage to 1.65v from the default 1.50.

But as before I had the blue screen.

So I just increased CPUVTT to + 280mv which gets it almost to 1.376V.

My sytem runs smoothly, even after days without shuting off but when i use Prime95 after a couple of minutes my system freezes.
I don't get the blue screen anymore b ut the system freezes,,

Is there any solution to my problem?

I have red all the threads concerning Flaming Blade GTI and my ram but I got no solution!

Thank you very much!

Blend is what I'm running.

But with default bios settings I can run it for hours with no problem..
(but my memory runs at 1033 with default settings)

Run the same settings on Small FFT and see if it still craps out. If it doesnt, its the memory. If it does, chances are its not the memory...

I'm running Prime95 in Small FFT for minutes even right now and I got no issues..
I knew it was the memory..
But I have tried almost all combinations of voltage settings

Yes.
Foxconn's support is rediculus.
The last bios update for this mobo was in 2010..
And since I have search all over the net for my problem I have found several users with the same or similar issue as mine with this mobo.
But I go no solution what so ever/

Anyway I can live with that since my pc only crashes when I use Blend on prime95.
It doenst seem to crash on my regural based usage.
Thank you anyway!
